The iMPC Pro 2 for iPhone is a powerful tool that combines innovative song creation with the iconic MPC workflow. This app is a true powerhouse that fits right in your pocket. Whether you're using the robust sampler, adding vocals, or integrating an Audio Unit, rest assured that you'll find all the necessary tools for your musical needs.

With the audio tracks feature, you can manipulate your audio clips in real-time by time warping, pitch shifting, and rearranging. The app offers a simple workflow and a sleek interface to capture the sophistication of real-time manipulation. Additionally, you have the option to choose from multiple input sources for recording, including external mic channels, hardware audio interfaces, and IAA.

The new Audio Unit tracks allow you to load any Audio Units instrument into an Audio Unit Track. Control your AU instrument using a classic piano keyboard interface or the iMPC interface that offers note variation, Flux Link, Note Repeat, 16 Levels, and more. The app also provides an improved workflow for song creation, making the process faster, more powerful, and more flexible.

Exclusive to iMPC Pro 2 for iPhone is a 100% new sound kit that covers a range of iconic and cutting-edge beat genres. These kits have been carefully chosen from the Akai Professional vault and include samples featuring sounds from punchy 808s to melodic hits and stabs. The goal is to provide the best user experience possible.

In addition to the sound kit, the app also includes four additional Sound Packs for free, valued at $20. You can access these packs in the AudioCopy Content Store and use them in various AudioCopy compatible apps. iMPC University students also have the opportunity to earn an extra Sound Pack called "The Diploma."

The iMPC University tutorial series is designed to unlock producer secrets and guide you on how to become a full-fledged song creator. The series offers one course per day, providing you with the necessary tools to take your music to the next level. Whether you're a new user or an experienced one, iMPC Pro 2 for iPhone offers an expansive dive into the world of beatmaking and song editing through these courses.

Some notable features of iMPC Pro 2 for iPhone include its audio tracks capability which allows you to record from various sources such as built-in mic, external mics, audio interfaces, and instruments. You can also record from Inter App Audio Apps. The app offers a range of quick editing features on audio clips like pitch shift, time stretch, amplify, crop, split, and duplicate. You can easily arrange audio clips by dragging them and snapping to an adjustable grid setting. Advanced waveform editing is also available.

The audio unit integration feature enables a tweak mode with full keyboard support for Audio Units instruments. It includes two dozen scale modes and offers a 64-track mixer with EQ and four FX sends (reverb, delay, chorus/flange, and one Inter App Audio Effect). The chop-shop feature provides intuitive multi-touch editing capabilities, allowing you to trim, audition, splice, and process samples. The tracks view provides an overview of all the tracks in your song.

Other notable features include 16 Levels mode for quickly creating variations of sounds using settings like attack, velocity, length, and tuning. Live Sequence queuing allows for real-time performance and playback. The app offers time correct functionality in various note timings with variable swing. MPC Note Repeat enables timing features with latch. It also includes IAA and Ableton Link support for seamless integration with other apps. You can easily share your beats and songs to YouTube and enjoy the convenience of 4 mute groups and custom-designed envelope filters for all pads. The app supports AudioCopy and AudioPaste and has improved integration and support for iMPC Pro Packs and other Sound Packs from the AudioCopy Content Store. Expert MIDI support, extensive undo/redo capabilities, a new song arrangement workflow, and an integrated Song Mode make song creation easier than ever. Lastly, the app allows you to drag entire folders and sound packs directly to pads for loading multiple sounds at once.
